Marc Ecko Cut & Sew (MEC) represents an evolution of Marc Ecko Enterprises (MEE) into the Collection space.
Created for today's the fashion-forward man, MEC blends classic
tailoring with cutting edge graphics and post-modern styling. MEC is
made for those who distinguish themselves with irreverence, swagger,
and casual style every day. MEC features semi-tailored separates,
sweaters, active wear, woven shirts, and premium denim, and offers the
evolving customer unparalleled fashion value without sacrificing good
tailoring and good design.
From the mind of Marc Ecko comes Cut & Sew, a signature
collection created for today’s fashion-forward young man.
Blending classic tailoring with edgy graphics and embellishments,
Cut & Sew turns the contemporary market on its head with a heavy
dose of irreverence and swagger. Comprised of semi-tailored
separates, sweaters, active wear, blazers, woven shirts, premium
Italian & Japanese denim, as well as T-shirts; the Cut & Sew
collection is the life, the style, the brand that others wish they had.
It is based off of military aesthetics and themes, then twisted with
various other influences to create Cut & Sew’s fresh take on
contemporary fashion. Skull designs and abstract patterns are
featured throughout the collection, as are allover prints referencing
both wartime and peace symbols. This innovative brand was
presented at the Pitti Uomo show and made its European debut for Spring
2007.
Marc Ecko Cut & Sew is sold in specialty and high-end retail
stores. The collection was launched amidst great fanfare in the
USA for the Fall 2004 season.
